These self-portraits are a dialogue reflecting on the connection between my physical presence and the surrounding elements that shape it. During the printing process in the darkroom, I incorporated sand from Tenerife, that I brought with me to England. By scattering the sand directly onto the paper, I transformed the image into a fusion of self-portrait and photogram.
